  Shamus T Bone's is an excellent steak house run by somebody who obviously gives a shit about the product he puts out, in addition to being an avid engineer - as evidenced by the clever water arc and the Tesla coil featured prominently in the restaurant.
  
  PROS: Perfectly cooked steaks using high quality meat with service that is fast enough to not be bothersome but slow enough that you know they're taking their time with the food.
  
  The ribs. Holy smokes (get it?) the ribs. Their beef ribs are peerless and expertly smoked and finished. An order gets you five and if you eat them all in one sitting, I'll assume you're some sort of man-panther or something because the portion is gigantic.
  
  The cocktails are good for the price and their non-meat dishes are excellent, hearty, and appropriate for the restaurant.
  
  Perfect Order is as follows: Grilled Artichoke starter with the Beef Ribs and a side of their Macaroni and Cheese. If you're feeling particularly saucy, add the second best chicken wings in Humboldt County.
  
  CONS:
  
  The Burgers. They're good. The meat is cooked well. Unfortunately, they're wildly inconsistent and you wind up with a soggy bun more often than not.
  
  The ribs I talked about earlier they only serve on Friday and Saturday - which is annoying, but easily planned around.
  
  The Price is *almost* not worth it. Come with a full wallet as well as your empty stomach.

  Arrived just a little over half hour before closing on a Monday night. Not the best thing to do when everyone is ready to go home, but I had just got into town. Sat at the bar. The staff was very friendly and service was prompt.The food was delicious and on point! Ordered 1/2 dozen raw and 1/2 dozen parmesan oysters. While the parmesan oysters were good, the raw oysters stole the show! They were sweet and delicious! The rib-eye steak was perfectly cooked and off the hook! Definitely coming back.

  Too expensive for what you get... Ribeye was tasty, but ordered medium and got well done. A steakhouse should know how to cook a steak--am I wrong? Service was good. Would not return.
